The Delray Chamber Education Fund (DCEF) raises grant money through a variety of fundraising activities during the year including the Bus Shelter Project, Celebration of Education Breakfast and other special events. 100% of the net revenues goes to support local youngsters attending one of Delray’s public schools Pre-Kindergarten to 12th grade.
To qualify for consideration, applicants must be a public school located in Delray Beach or a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Qualifying organizations include educational institutions, churches, community and athletic organizations, or individuals who are providing education and training services to school aged children.
Grants will be awarded on an annual basis with the application process opening on April 1st, 2021 and closing on July 1st, 2021. DCEF will consider innovative, forward thinking applications focused on
Learning Loss Recovery to reverse the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic
STEM programs (Science, Technology, and Engineering) to eliminate the digital divide, giving all students equal access to a future dependent on technological literacy.
Selected schools and organizations will be announced at the annual back to school breakfast on August 6, 2021.
